Championships for drivers at all levels, from highly experienced racers to 'Rookie' class. Our unique motorsport ladder allows you to be part of the Ginetta family, and develop your skills as far as you like.
Ginetta Junior Championship
The UK’s longest running and most prestigious junior series. Offering the first step on the motorsport ladder for 14 - 17 year old racing drivers, it gives aspiring teenage drivers the experience of a lifetime, kick-starting their journey towards racing stardom. Using the multi-disciplined Ginetta G40, the championship is a proven tool in the development of young drivers. It's no surprise that the motorsport world is full of racing stars who started their careers in the Ginetta Junior paddock. Ginetta are delighted to be able to continue this championship in 2023.
Ginetta GT Academy
The Ginetta GT Academy is a unique concept providing the driver a high performance, yet safe and reliable race car to enjoy entry level GT Racing. Drivers of all experience levels compete in GT Academy as the field is split between experienced drivers and a ‘Rookie’ class.
Sharing unforgettable memories and fun with like-minded individuals is at the heart of the GT Academy offering. GTA combines identical cars on the grid with close, exciting racing at some of the best circuits in the UK all with first class hospitality and technical support.
Ginetta GT Championship
New for 2023, the Ginetta GT Championship will consist of two main classes, GT Pro and GT5.
Due to the success of the Ginetta GT Academy Championship, we are now in a position to offer both a new car and championship to take our drivers to the next level of competition. With this in mind we are announcing today our plans for a new GTP car, together with the ability to upgrade existing GTA cars to the same level. The new GTP car spec will offer improved performance improved braking systems, grip and power.
The GTP car is being launched at Donington Park on 4th October, drivers and teams will be invited to attend. https://want2race.co.uk/trackdays/calendar
The GT5 Challenge grid is one of the UKs biggest single make championships and will now be part of Ginetta’s new multiclass GT Championship.
